Songs From A Tree

As simple as it sounds. This little experiment around London park culture and making music as accessible as possible started back in 2019 and has had five iterations over the years which means two things — lots of tasty tunes in beautiful settings and new friends from the park!

The rules are simple.

There are no rules. All we have ever done was invite a few musicians to gather for an all acoustic play around in the park. We stock up on park snacks and chose a tree, then proceeded to set out some instrument cases and simply start playing.

Let the magic unfold.

Whether it be utter strangers who stop by for a song as they walk their dog or a kid climbs the tree for a better view, something special always unfolds at these gatherings. More than once we have had friends walk by not knowing it was happening and grace us with an entire set of songs. The fun lies predominantly in that there is no barrier to entry — no ticket, no stage, no rules.
